It's a very special day for those girls who perform the conventional Mahashivratri Puja with milk, water, Bel leaves, fruits like Ber or jujube fruit and incense sticks. They take 7 or 3 rounds round the Shiva Lingam and pour milk and provide leaves, fruits, blossoms and worship with incense sticks.

 

There are six important elements which needs to be utilized while doing Mahashivratri Puja and every represent a distinctive significance.
